THE COUNT DOWN FOR BACK TO SCHOOL IS ON!  SCHOOL STARTS AUGUST 20TH

Parents and guardians are advised to prepare now for back to school immunizations.

(Broward County, FL) – The Broward County Health Department in cooperation with local municipalities and community partners will offer free immunizations for school age children during the month of August at various locations throughout Broward County.

Parents and guardians are advised to prepare early and get the required immunizations for their child/children before the school rush.

Documentation for required immunizations is mandatory for all students entering, attending, or transferring into a Florida school in grades pre-Kindergarten (K) through 12. For more information visit: www.immunizeflorida.com.

In order to be vaccinated, each child must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Parent or legal guardian should remember to bring the child’s immunization records.
