Armed Robbery Suspect Sketch

Broward Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit detectives are looking for a gunman who followed a Check Cashing Store employee home and robbed her around 5 p.m. on June 25.

The victim was accosted in a stairwell in her apartment building at 3710 SW 52 Ave. in Pembroke Park. The suspect put a gun to the victim’s head and said “Phone, purse, NOW,” two times. The victim was not physically injured and the robber made off with the handbag and its contents.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20 – 30 years old. He’s about 5′ 9″ tall and weighs around 150 pounds. He may also have a gold tooth.

The suspect, along with another male and female, were seen earlier the same day at the Check Cashing Store at 2500 N. State Rd. 7, Hollywood causing a disturbance.

Information given to Crime Stoppers that leads to an arrest can result in a cash reward of up to $1,000 for the tipster.
