Don’t miss the classic sound of Frank Sinatra Jr., son of the legendary musician and actor Frank Sinatra, at The Pavilion at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on Thursday, July 12 at 8 p.m. Beloved worldwide for his big band shows, the multitalented musician, singer, pianist and actor will perform as a part of the casino’s month-long 1960s celebration.
One of the most skilled pop vocalists of the era, Sinatra followed in his father’s footsteps and stared taking music lessons at age five, studying the violin and piano, writing songs and singing. In 1965 he released his debut album, Young Love For Sale (Reprise), a collection of showroom standards performed with warmth, enthusiasm and skill. The first-rate album was backed by The Sam Donahue Orchestra.
By 1968 he had performed in 47 states and 30 countries, hosted a summer replacement show for The Dean Martin Show, sung with his own band in Las Vegas casinos and served as the opening act for other big name celebrities. He began taking small movie roles, and has continued to be seen on television over the years with guest appearances on several popular shows, including Late Night with David Letterman, Son of the Beach, The Sopranos, Family Guy, The Defenders and many more.
