Meet Flavor-Flav at Seminole Casino Hollywood
WHO: Long Island rapper and reality TV star, Flavor Flav first made his mark by popularizing the role of the hip hop[ back-up rapper or “hype man” as a member of the legendary, politically outspoken Public Enemy with his shouts of “Yeah boy! and “Flavor Flav” punctuating their songs. Though known for his outlandishness — including wearing a large clock around his neck, and starring in several VH1 reality shows (The Surreal Life, Strange Love and Flavor of Love) — he was a musical prodigy at a young age who could play at least 15 instruments. He recently opened a take-out restaurant, Flavor Flav’s House of Flavor, in Las Vegas, and continues to perform with Public Enemy.
