Wilton Manors to Host Workshop on Transit Oriented Corridor (TOC)

On Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 7 to 8:30 PM, the City of Wilton Manors will host a workshop to be held at Hagen Park Community Center located at 2020 Wilton Drive.  The City is extending an invitation to interested parties to attend and assist in envisioning and developing a set of zoning regulations expressly for the recently adopted Transit Oriented Corridor or TOC.

The TOC is generally located along the Dixie Highway and FEC Railway Corridors.  The City recently assigned this area a mixed land use designation in an effort to induce redevelopment in an older commercial and industrial section of the City.

The City is holding this workshop so the public can give input in the development of specific zoning regulations and to influence the shaping of this redevelopment district.
