Davie Celebrates Arbor Day

Flamingo Elementary School second graders were thrilled to have the Mayor and Vice Mayor join them in their Arbor Day celebration.

The second graders participated in small learning groups led by Town of Davie Landscape Division staff members. The students planted a Red Maple tree at the school that was donated by Jim Aucamp of Aucamp’s Nursery and potted their own native Pond Apple trees to take home which were donated by Scott Weinstein of Somerset Soil Company Inc. and Naugles Nursery Inc.
