Angel pop-up book artist to read his stories at MoA Dec. 12

Share that experience again with your children or grandchildren for FREE with paid Museum admission on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 2 pm at the Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale with renown pop up book artist Chuck Fischer!

Fischer will be doing an inter-active story-telling of his latest book, ANGELS: A POP UP BOOK, a book signing and even teach you how to make your very own Angel pop-up greeting card with art materials that he will supply to the first 75 children! Fischer will also feature his other pop-up book classics such as Christmas In New York, Christmas Around The World, and In The Beginning: The Art of Genesis.

ABOUT POP UP BOOK ARTIST CHUCK FISCHER
Chuck Fischer’s paintings hang in some of the finest residences in the world. His designs have been reproduced on china for Lenox and home furnishings, including wallpaper and fabrics in the permanent collection of the Cooper-Hewitt Museum. He is the author of two previous pop-up books: THE WHITE HOUSE and GREAT AMERICAN HOUSES AND GARDENS. This season, Fischer adds to his Holiday collection with pop-up greeting cards and hand-painted ornaments inspired by ANGELS. Fischer makes his home in both Fort Lauderdale and New York City.
