the 43 wounded at Ft. Hood on November 5th. As part of our ongoing partnership with the school, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue and the City of Lauderdale Lakes will present a tree to be planted by the students in memory of the victims and to honor our Armed Forces.

Students, school administration and BSFR personnel will participate in the ceremony which will be held outside, adjacent to the school. The Boyd Anderson High School ROTC will present the colors and students will observe a moment of silence for the victims. A yellow ribbon will be cut to symbolize the tragedy that occurred. The tree will be planted and dedicated with a plaque during the mid-afternoon service.

BSFR has developed a long-standing partnership with Lauderdale Lakes Middle School in promoting civic activities and mentoring our youth.
