This is a publicity stunt by those in Law Enforcement who want to give the impression they are “concerned” about the public’s safety.
When in reality they have thrown the families to the wolves and expect you to fend for yourselves concerning this guy. After the notification meeting, Lamberti and every other police officer and agency who holds these meetings can give each other the “high five” and wipe their hands clean by saying to themselves, “ok they have been notified”.
Families have been conditioned to accept these poor excuses for DNA to live among us. What the families arent told is, many of these guys have a criminal history that would choke a horse. What Law Enforcement doesnt want to stress is many of these guys have plenty of victims under their belt before they are caught and convicted, they also dont like to bring up the many plea deals some of these men have used to garner thier freedoms back out on the street.
The days of assuming these guys got a raw deal for having underage sex with their respective girlfriends are gone. Any guy who has recently been convicted of a sex crime and has been designated an offender or Predator in the state of Florida, doesnt have that excuse anymore. The fact a guy is labeled a Predator and is released back out onto the streets to “feed” again should outrage people.
This state (and country) has no viable treatment options, what has shown promise are two drugs used in conjunction with one another, but one is banned in the United States, so dont look for help there. The other option is confinement. But this state also doesnt have the will to spend the money. Its no secret that child sexual abuse can manifest itself in children growing up to be abusers themselves. It can be generational. The only reasonable alternative is to keep these guys away from children. Many communities have fought to do just that.
But what drops down out of the sky now? Rep. Dave Aronberg a democrat, who spends more time at campaign parties than discussing the issues has come up with his solution. Have Florida mandate a statewide 1000ft residency restriction across the board. This “fool” doesnt understand one of the reasons some communities enacted stronger longer footage was the fact they were drowning in these guys.Communities who are less affluent, have a higher ratio of rentals, less money for parks or schools had a higher ratio of offenders to children than others. These poorer communities also had new families and “more” children. Dave Aronberg wants to wipe out what these families fought for and put the fox’s right back into the henhouse. I cant stand guys like this. Aronberg has no children, will never have children and thinks he is qualified to make a blanket statement on the issues of sex offenders. If Dave Aronberg had a lick of sense, he would put a moritorium on offenders who committed crimes in other states from moving in for no other reason than the beaches are better. He would mandate deportation for those criminal alien convicted sex offenders who now make up close to 25% of Florida’s Registered sex offenders.
My feelings? If this Aronberg is so stupid on this issue, how smart can he be on others. Dave Aronberg is not a guy we want running anything. Especially when it comes to Family Issues.
