Sundays in North Lauderdale Beach jammin’
To the sounds of Riverdown in the background, Sunset Blue attendees filled NE 33rd St. on North Fort Lauderdale Beach Sunday night. Originally started as a 10-week summer block party, the event has grown and will continue on into fall, bringing outlocal musicians such as Riverdown, but also Joey Gilmore, Troy Anderson and the Wonderful World Band, The Big City Blues Band, Iko Iko and The Magic City Band. The Dive Bar, 33rd Street Wine Bar, Fishtales On 33rd, and Blue Jean Blues anchor the party, each providing its special flavor of food, drink and music. The party continues Sunday, Sept. 13 with Mary Washington-Brook, Sunday, Sept. 20 with Iko Iko, Sunday, Sept. 27 with The Jeff Prine Group and Sunday, Oct., 4 with David Shelley.
