ALL AMERICAN HEROES: A TRIBUTE TO 9/11 in Lauderdale Lakes
This Sept. 11, the Lauderdale Lakes Moose Lodge will be hosting a special tribute to not only those affected by 9/11, but to the local police and fire departments and all military personnel.
“Let us let them know that they are our heroes,” says members of the lodge. “We must never forget what happened or the people who put themselves in harm’s way every day to make this the greatest country in the world.”
This event will start on Friday September 11, at the Lauderdale Lakes Moose Lodge, 6191 Rock Island Road Tamarac from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be food, raffles, special guest speakers, a candle light tribute, a sundown memorial and more. There will also be demonstrations by local firefighters, police, and BSO units. Members of the military will be in attendance.
