Wet Willie’s, the nationally recognized daiquiri bar/restaurant, will open its first Broward County location at The Improv Comedy Club at Seminole Paradise at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Friday, July 10.

To celebrate the grand opening Hard Rock style, Wet Willie’s will hold a ceremonial guitar smash with comedian Jamie Kennedy at 9:45 p.m. on Friday. As a performer of stand-up comedy, Kennedy is best known for his sketch performances on his television reality show, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, which became the WB Network’s highest ranking new show in 2002. More recently, Kennedy plays psychology professor Eli James in the CBS drama Ghost Whisperer.

Kennedy will be performing at the Improve Comedy Club in Seminole Paradise on Friday July 10 at 8 p.m. & 10:30 p.m. and on Saturday, July 11 at 7 p.m. & 9:15 p.m. Tickets cost $20* and can be purchased at the Improv Comedy Club box office or at www.improvftl.com. *Additional fees may apply and there is a two-drink minimum at the club.

Wet Willie’s, located outside The Improv, will offer as many as 20 varieties of exotic frozen cocktails with memorable monikers such as Attitude Improvement, Call a Cab, Monkey Shine, Shock Treatment and the namesake Wet Willie.  Festive drink favorites including the Margarita, Sex on the Beach, White Russian, Green Apple and more will also be on the bar menu along with The Improv’s delicious appetizers, casual food fare and dinner favorites such as wings, sandwich platters, black angus burgers and desserts.

The Improv location at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will be the chain’s fifth Florida location (South Beach, West Palm Beach, Tampa, St. Petersburg) and the tenth, nationwide.
