BSO paying cash to ID robber; see video
In these tough economic times a little extra cash could come in handy, and if you know the identity of the man who robbed a Pompano Beach 7-Eleven, your pay out could be more than his. (See video below)
The armed man waited until the 7-Eleven was empty before storming in with his weapon drawn at around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday (3/31/09). Surveillance cameras were rolling as the man startled the two store clerks, jumped over the counter, and demanded the money from the registers. One attendant emptied out one register as the suspect crouched down and made his way to the second register to help himself to the money. Once he dumped the cash into a plastic bag, he ran out of the store and fled to an awaiting getaway vehicle.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’7” tall, stocky build, and weighs about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, dark colored shorts, and a knit mask over his face.
All the effort got the robber less than $100, but you could make up to ten times that sum without committing a crime.
